Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. May 1, 1758. Five Shillings. No.3140?. Signed by Tho.(mas) Clark, David Hall (?) and Wm. Armstrong. Printed on thick paper by B.(enjamin) Franklin and D.(avid) Hall, their imprint on the back. Seal and motto as used on earlier series. One crown security device. The back with sea serpent and blackberry leaf. Very Good, split, glued, with staining on the back. The imprint at the bottom is clear.

Eight thousand Pounds Sterling of Bills were authorized to pay public expenses based on a 1758 Act. The designs were similar face and back and Franklin and Hall continued to be the printers.
