A check for $58.13 drawn on the Office of Discount and Deposit of the Bank of the United States, Boston dated 5th October, 1819. Accomplished and signed in his small hand 'J.Q. Adams' at the lower right. The 'J' is blurred. A hole cancel at the left center, through the 'B' of 'Boston' and a partially shaved indent at the lower left. Mounted to a display board by the corners.
