 1903 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. Peripherally toned with dark golden hues, with a touch of blue near the rim on the obverse. The reverse displays less toning, but similar gold in color. Precisely executed by the dies with the surfaces and fields retaining their reflectivity. Liberty's cheek is excellent, and lacks the usual hairlines. A modest mintage of 755 pieces keeps collector demand high for attractive examples.
