Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $1,100.00 Here is a dramatically sharp strike of the first, high relief date. The locks over Liberty's ear are exceptionally well defined, placing this lustrous coin light years ahead of most available examples. A delicate suggestion of clear gold and a very restrained dash or two of deeper gold in Liberty's hair ''hallmark'' this thoroughly pleasing coin. 2958 1922 (4). Very Choice to Gem Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH to GEM BU $125.00 Blazing, lustrous surfaces are awash in pale rose and gold toning on this high quality quartet. 4 pieces. 2959 1923'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $500.00 - and virtually of Gem quality. Unbroken satin-silk mint bloom is accompanied by a blush of pale golden toning. The fields are very smooth, and the devices yield only ever so minor disturbance upon examination. With Gems often bringing $5000.00 or more, the coin offered here is certainly a viable alternative at a significantly lower price level. 2960 1924'S' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $1,100.00 Magnificent silky mint bloom leaps from the surfaces of this jewel for an astounding look. Bright white color and a boldly impressed mint mark add to the phenomenal eye appeal. A gorgeous example of a coin that is prohibitively rare at the Gem level of preservation. 2961 1924'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,000.00 - nearly of Gem quality. Smooth, satin-velvet fields and design elements are augmented by delicate shades of gold on both the obverse and reverse. The strike reveals only minor weakness at the central reverse, and the surface quality is far better than normally encountered on this elusive Peace Dollar issue. Outstanding. 2962 1924'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,000.00 - with claims to a Gem classification. Well struck, silky-smooth surfaces are bathed in rich shades of gold and subtle olive iridescence. A trivial obverse rim mark at 5:00 is mentioned for accuracy, however the overall presentation of this coin is indeed quite impressive. 2963 1924'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,000.00 - and offering a number of traits indicative of a Gem distinction. A tiny trio of obverse reeding marks are visible at Liberty's forehead, otherwise this well struck, delicately toned example is arguably a full Gem. The surface quality is exceptional, and the strike is far sharper than typically seen. 2964 1924'S' VERY CH BU $950.00 Easily a Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated example. A satin-cartwheel glow is embellished by a delicate blush of pale mauve-golden toning on either side. The lustre is particularly luxuriant, and the visual allure quite memorable. 2965 1925'S' VAM 3 VERY CH BU $475.00 A reverse doubled die exhibiting very faint doubling along the right edge of the eagle's wing and thigh. Doubling is also evident at the eagle's front leg feathers, and at the leading edge of the right talon directly beneath these same feathers. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated and quite close to a Gem designation. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. A blush of pale rose-golden toning is accented by somewhat deeper hints of olive-green iridescence at the obverse periphery. Smooth, evenly struck, and wonderfully satiny. 2967 1925'S' Doubled Die Reverse VERY CH BU $2,400.00 The doubling is quite similar to that of the two VAM 3 pieces offered immediately above, however there are differences, the most notable of which is some evidence of doubling on parts of the olive branches and leaves. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated with claims to the Gem category. Pale lilac toning is highlighted by wisps of russet. The fields and design features are drenched in...  more 2968 1925'S' Doubled Die Reverse VERY CH BU $525.00 This is yet a different double die reverse, the most noticeable feature of which is some pronounced doubling on the two uppermost leaves of the olive branch. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated, virtually a Gem example. Evenly toned, pale golden surfaces are free of all but the most trivial of imperfections. The strike, though not entirely full, is nonetheless quite assertive. 2969 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $500.00 - nearly of Gem quality. The surfaces are unusually smooth, and the reverse strike uncommonly sharp for a coin of this scarce date. Splashes of russet-green iridescence accent either side. 2970 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $500.00 - nearly warranting a Gem distinction. Glorious satin-frost bathes either side. The obverse is that of a full Gem, but for a tiny contact mark at the point of Liberty's bust. 2971 1925'S' VERY CH BU $475.00 A well struck Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated specimen, nearly worthy of a Gem classification. Silk-like fields and design elements are very smooth in appearance. The reverse wingfeathers offer far greater definition than is the norm. 2972 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $500.00 - with claims to the Gem category. Fully vibrant velvet-frost is completed by wispy hints of overlying gold. A highly appealing example in every respect. 2973 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $500.00 - and approaching a Gem designation. There is a tiny toning spot in the lower left obverse field, otherwise this well struck specimen is easily a virtual Gem. Ever so delicate lilac-golden toning complements wonderfully dense underlying satin-velvet mint bloom. 2974 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $750.00 - and offering highly attractive coloration. Rich, icy mint frost is embellished by elegant peripheral shades of delicate rose, russet, and emerald-golden iridescence. 2975 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $500.00 This handsome, premium quality example offers a slight trace of golden toning over a full measure of icy-satin lustre. A lovely coin for the set or type collector. 2979 1927 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $120.00 Blazing mint lustre gives this coin marvelous eye appeal. A trace of light russet toning can be found as can a few light marks. A very attractive coin that should be closely viewed. 2980 1927'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,400.00 - bordering on the Gem category. A delicately toned obverse is that of a solid Gem, there being wonderfully smooth fields and design features. The reverse reveals only light striking softness at the juncture of the leg with the lower central wing. Splashes of olive-russet toning accent the lower reverse periphery of this very scarce San Francisco issue. 2981 1927'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,100.00 Here is an entirely ''fresh'' specimen that exudes colorful originality. A suffusion of jade and golden iridescence frames the reverse periphery, and adorns much of the left and right obverse. The underlying lustre is incredibly rich and satisfying. 2982 1927'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $800.00 Here is a richly lustrous virtual Gem exhibiting a notably fine strike, boldest gleaming silver surfaces and splendid detail. 2983 1928 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $550.00 - a whisper from full Gem. Glowing, totally satin silver combines with richest tawny gold for outstanding visual appeal. 2984 1928 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $600.00 - on the cusp of full Gem. Smoothly glowing satin silver shows a wisp of clearest gold, a couple of bagmarks forestall a higher grade. 2985 1928 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $550.00 - approaching Gem. Bright cartwheel silver displays a delicate golden sheen, a very few minor bagmarks determine this highly appealing coin's grade. 2986 1928'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,000.00 Pale golden toning. The obverse is entirely Gem, and is lavished in ever so dense velvet-satin mint bloom. The reverse is equally as lustrous, and exhibits only minor central disturbance.
