Tawny matte gold and light gray cover smooth surfaces, high points are silvery. 2390 1834 O.102. Large Date and Letters EF $91.00 Extremely Fine. Bold strike shows wear only on the very highest points. A glass discovers very faint toned-over scratches in the left obverse field. 2391 1834 O.114 (R-3). Small Date and Letters VF $70.00 Very Fine. Delicate gold-gray in the smooth fields complements the sharply detailed devices. 2392 1834 O.117. 1 over 1 EF $110.00 Extremely Fine. Date shows a short-serif '1' punched over a long. Deep tawny red-gold laves both sides of this faintly circulated example. 2393 1835 O.102 (R-3). Oval Space Headband-Curl EF $110.00 Extremely Fine. Some lustre and light gold toning cling to the peripheries. 2394 1835 O.109. Straight Date VF $60.00 Very Fine. Liberty's curled lip further defines this obverse variety. Slight trace of tape residue on the obverse likely removable. 2398 1837 CH VF $100.00 Choice Very Fine. The clasp on Liberty's drapery is sharp, surfaces are wholly pleasing. 2399 1837, 1838 VF $170.00 Both are strong Very Fine or better specimens although the former is somewhat rough. The color of each coin, furthermore, is overly pale due to a past ''dipping''. 2 pieces. 2400 1838 CH VF $84.00 Choice Very Fine. Rich blue-gray toning shows a delicate undercurrent of rose, the cheek shows a single scratch. 2402 1838 VG $140.00 Very Good.
