About Uncirculated. Tawny matte gold and light gray cover smooth surfaces, high points are silvery.

Extremely Fine. Bold strike shows wear only on the very highest points. A glass discovers very faint toned-over scratches in the left obverse field.

Very Fine. Delicate gold-gray in the smooth fields complements the sharply detailed devices.

Extremely Fine. Date shows a short-serif '1' punched over a long. Deep tawny red-gold laves both sides of this faintly circulated example.
