 1796 S.83 (High R-5). Wide Date, Leaf Tip to F. Very Fine-20 or virtually so. This die state shows a fine line joining the pole tip to the bust. Major details are bold and wear is generally trouble-free. A glass finds an old hairline or two well toned-over and of little visual significance. The reverse is in typically lower relief yet fully detailed. Pleasing light and glossy reddish-brown covers both sides.
