1858'C' Choice About Uncirculated, and on the cusp of Mint State. None of the Charlotte mint Quarter Eagles can be called common, and the 1858'C' is one of the rarer and underrated dates among its Charlotte brethren. The present specimen is about average for the issue in terms of strike, given the softness in Liberty's and the eagle's central details. However, this piece is far above par vis-a-vis condition, with very few coins graded much higher. NGC AU58.
