1833 JR.10 (R-3). Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. The obverse is bathed in rich coppery-russet colors while the reverse sports deeper blue-gray over the lustre. Clean surfaces reveal minimal signs of handling under the scrutiny of a magnifier. The visual appeal is increased by the frosty nature of Liberty's bust, which produces the desired sparkling cameo effect agains lightly prooflike fields. Sharply impressed by the dies, this coin would make a welcome addition to any collection. Middle die state with a thin crack through the stars on the left, heavier die crack from the rim through the 'A' of STATES to the motto, and the reverse die shows clashmarks.
