1859 Breen 4019. Type I Obverse-Type II Reverse. Choice Brilliant Proof. This coin combines an obverse...1859 Breen 4019. Type I Obverse-Type II Reverse. Choice Brilliant Proof. This coin combines an obverse showing three parallel die lines at the left end of the rock with a reverse showing the diagnostic cabochon eye on the eagle. Bright mirror silver offers a touch of diffused gold toning with a few scattered hairlines to be found with a glass. Popular guide books show 800 Proofs struck, but the number of actual surviving Proofs is very substantially smaller.
