 1858 Very Choice Brilliant Proof, close to the Gem category. Boldly reflective surfaces and jewel-sharp reliefs are highlighted by a blush of tawny reddish-gold circling much of the rim on either side. One of 300 Proofs struck, of which far fewer survive today in such a high state of preservation.
