1788 Connecticut Copper. Miller 5-B.2 (R-5-). Mailed Bust Right. 115.6 grains. Fine to Very Fine in terms of wear. Surfaces are a deep chestnut brown in the fields, lighter golden brown on the devices and legends. Uniformly and lightly porous, this specimen is struck a bit off center on a Nova Constellatio Copper, the remnants of which are faintly visible at the central reverse.
