Painted Die Variety in the left obverse field. Burgundy brown with green deposits on the obverse, the reverse is dark brown with the devices highlighted in lighter brown. Here is a neatly pedigreed specimen of this variety.

Ex lot 246 of an unidentified Henry Chapman auction. Lot envelope enclosed, in addition to a round ''circle H'' ticket with the date May/90; New Netherlands Coin Company.
