1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 4-L. Mailed Bust Left. Horned Bust. 115.2 grains. About Uncirculated. Small planchet variety, 27.0 mm. Near the low end of the Condition Census for the variety. Good, rich chocolate brown in color on both sides. Decent surfaces, just minor granularity. Full obverse break lending the variety its nickname, a ''horn'' has developed in the lower left obverse field that looks much like a crescent moon shape.
