Arkansas Commemorative Set Presentation Case, n.d. 146 x 57 x 27mm. Choice Extremely Fine. Gold-stamped leather case with brass hinges and hasp encloses black velvet-lined interior with three fitted openings. Lid is gold-stamped GEORGE G. BLAKE. the inside satin is blue-stamped OFFICIAL DISTRIBUTORS/ Stack's/ NEW YORK, N. Y. This inscription bears an error, as the recipient was noted paper money maven and American Numismatic Association Treasurer Emeritus George H. Blake. No example of this extremely high quality case was known to Commemorative researcher Anthony Swiatek, whose coverage of holders, cases and mailers is generally definitive.
