 1921 Superb Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. This dramatically lustrous high relief example presents intense silver surfaces and a strike vastly superior to most other high grade examples available today. Only the very highest locks over Liberty's ear show any discernible weakness, although this can be called trivial for this difficult date. Finding any comparable example of this historic first date Peace Dollar would be a time-consuming challenge, as only five coins have received this highest grade from PCGS and only three were so graded by NGC. Neither major service graded even a single coin higher. Here is an historic opportunity for the seeker of ultimate quality. NGC MS67.
