 1900 Lafayette Dollar. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. The color of this heavenly example certainly leaves nothing to be desired. There is a most enticing blend of central lavender and golden toning that is embellished by traces of jade and pale blue iridescence at the peripheries. Velvet-like underlying surfaces exhibit only minor obverse contact marks at Lafayette's cheekbone, as well as at the central reverse. With respect to pure eye appeal, this superb specimen is without question as nice as any Dollar of this design that may be encountered.
