 1881 Choice Brilliant Proof or essentially so. The fields of this subtle lilac specimen are fully mirrored and contrast nicely against frosty devices. There are, however, faint hairlines that are visible upon closely inspecting either side. A total of 984 Proofs were released from a total mintage of some 1,089 pieces.
