 1802/1 B.3, BB.234 (R-3). Wide Date. Brilliant Uncirculated, nearly of Choice quality. The fields are reflective and generally bright silver with a ring of colorful blue and gold near the rims and considerable mint bloom. Exceptional quality for this overdate issue, which is virtually impossible to obtain this nice. Slight weakness on the upper design elements, which are indicated by light gold tones on these portions of Liberty's hair and cheek. Most of the stars on the left are sharp, but those on the right show minor softness at their central points. A very impressive example for the specialist who demands a memorable specimen of this popular overdate.
