 1905 Gem Brilliant Proof. Especially bright and attractive for this issue, with peripheral blue and gold toning on both sides and ample eye appeal. The surfaces are clean although faint hairlines are present on Liberty's cheek, a feature seldom left untouched by the intervening 100+ years on these delicate Proofs. Another scarce issue with 727 pieces struck in Proof.
