 1903 Gem Brilliant Proof. Bright on the obverse with light gold at the obverse periphery, darker gold on the reverse. Boldly executed by the dies and quite attractive for this issue. A mere 755 were coined in Proof for the year. The present example lacks the usual distracting hairlines and has developed attractive toning over the last century.
