 1901 Gem Brilliant Proof. Toned with delightful splashes of magenta, red and gold with traces of green and blue intermixed. Close examination will find faint hairlines on Liberty's cheek, a few of which may be trivial slide marks. Nevertheless, these are old and generally toned over, and minimally distracting on this sparkling coin. A mere 813 were struck in Proof.
