1926 Oregon Trail. Superb Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. An exceptional example exhibiting a sharp strike and mark-free surfaces. A coin obviously cherished and lovingly preserved from the time of minting. The toning is incredibly beautiful, and can be characterized as being splashed by cinnamon and cocoa on the obverse, with highlights of rainbow toning behind the Indian's headdress. The reverse is no less impressive, and shows a well struck Conestoga wagon wonderfully set off by a sunset and gold patina.
