First and last stars are far from curl and bust, and a small dot between Star 7 and the 'L' of LIBERTY, which the late Jules Reiver pointed out as distinguishing this obverse from a similar one used on five other 1799 obverses. Deep tan-gold and ebony toning adds to this coin's attractions. ICG EF45.
