1831 JR.4. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. Toned with peripheral blue and gold combined with centers of medium silver-gray and highly attractive. The strike is full and complete on the stars and claws, as expected for this lofty grade. Examination with a magnifier will discover a few trace handling lines and ticks, but these scarcely warrant mention. Although available in most grades, the present coin is likely one of the finest to survive of this die pairing. Early die state as usually seen. NGC MS65.
