 1855 Brilliant Uncirculated, nearly Choice. A very nice looking coin, with rich yellow gold color and surfaces that look almost frosty. Both sides were fairly well struck and the tops of the date numerals on the back are sharp and fully legible. The clash marks on the reverse are typical on Type II Gold Dollars.
