Indian and Cupid top a column bearing the arms of Britain, France and Augsburg with a statue of peace; Mercury and the Belgian lion amidst symbols of peaceful trade. Choice About Uncirculated. Beautifully toned in rich silver gray on brightly reflective fields. Quite rare. The medal expresses the hope that the articles of peace agreed to at Fontainebleau in 1762 would be ratified.
