 1873 Open 3. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Delicate gold mint frost saturates both sides of this splendidly struck example. The obverse shows one or two marks but the overall visual quality is of the highest with an especially lustrous reverse adding to the coin's inarguable beauty. While many dozens of lesser-grade examples are listed by Dannreuther-Garrett, only 10 examples appear in this or higher grade. PCGS MS63.
