 1881 Extremely Fine. Greenish-gold toning with some lustre still present in the protected areas. Sharply struck with most detail sharp. The surfaces are smooth with little if any marks to detract from the overall eye appeal. A very rare date with only 640 pieces struck, the fourth lowest mintage of the entire Liberty Head Quarter Eagle series.
