 1878'S' Brilliant Uncirculated and virtually in the Choice category. This glittering coin's rich and full cartwheel lustre is interrupted by a couple of faint obverse field scuffs but the overall brilliance can only be called outstanding. The Dannreuther-Garrett study lists only 12 appearances of this Carson City date at auction over a decade, with this coin's grade representing the highest in that surprisingly short roster.
