 1838 Brilliant Uncirculated, perhaps a bit better. Frosty mint lustre over decent surfaces. The lustre is first rate and beams off the fields. The strike is quite strong and adds further to this coin's great eye appeal. A wonderful example of this last year of the marvelous Classic Head design.
