1794 S.44 Short Bust, Large Berry Opposite 'C.' Head of 1794. Very Fine-30 with the sharply struck,...1794 S.44 Short Bust, Large Berry Opposite 'C.' Head of 1794. Very Fine-30 with the sharply struck, deep brown appeal of a higher grade. This obverse is deeply impressed, resulting in a splendidly high toothed rim, sharp locks and bold facial features on Liberty's locks and a sharply detailed cap with all its folds. Both motto and date are crisp, the latter with its slanting die crack through '17'. Examination of the reverse shows a slightly less forceful strike but very complete detail including the slanting crack from the upper rim left of OF to the 'N' of ONE and the large dot-like berry just left of 'C' in CENT. A single edge bump is seen left of 'D' in UNITED but this is a wholesome and desirable example of an historic date.
