1842'C' About Uncirculated. Greenish-gold toning with nice underlying lustre. Weakly struck in the hair curls and the coronet, the rest decently struck. An obverse rim tic and a few marks behind the head are this coin's main detractions. Quite rare with only 6,729 pieces struck, survivors of which are of lesser quality than the present example. Overall a pretty wholesome example for the southern gold specialist.
