1807 Br.5-D (R-3). Large Stars, Perfect Dies. Brilliant Uncirculated. Luxuriant deep red-gold lustre distinguishes this example of the first year of the new John Reich design. A glass locates a few faint facial lines and there is a short deep mark in the left obverse field, but this coin remains an excellent example of an elusive, short-lived type.
