1787 Fugio Cent. Kessler 6-W.1 (R-5). Fine Rays. STATES UNITED. Extremely Fine. The coffee brown surfaces are glossy and relatively smooth. Struck on a sub-par planchet with a deep void obliterating the sun face and another removing 'MIND' and 'BU' from the lower legend. The reverse displays striking weakness in the areas opposite these voids. The die state is as typically found with a crack travelling from the exergual line down through the 'U' of YOUR and the first 'S' of BUSINESS. A similar reverse crack is found running through a chain link at the lower left. An interesting specimen with no post-striking problems and an endearing piece of Americana. ANACS EF40.
