 1891 Gem Brilliant Proof. An exceptional example, one of only 600 Proofs struck. This specimen has bright and full mirror fields which have beautiful flash when angled in the light. The central devices are lightly frosted. The centers are untoned and are wreathed in spectacular iridescent blue, gold, and deep gray. The strike is sharp on both sides. All in all, a very wholesome coin and an important addition to an advanced collection.
