1793 S.7 (R-6-). Wreath. Vine & Bars Edge. Fine-12. Glossy deep chestnut brown surfaces are incredibly uniform in tone. The devices and legends are evenly worn to a pleasing overall smoothness, while the surrounding fields exhibit a matte-like texture as a result of granularity. Despite the texture in the fields, this specimen is surprisingly attractive. As most specimens known of this rare variety grade Fine or less, this specimen will comfortably fall within the mid ranges of the condition census. Struck from the late states of the dies, as the obverse is clearly starting to fail at the date area (Breen's Die State IV).
