 1849/6 The '8' and '6' of the undertype date are still quite evident within the loops of the primary numerals. Additional traces of the undertype '846' are also detectable with some effort in the obverse field adjacent to the numerals. Brilliant Uncirculated, nearly a Choice example. The obverse is fully Choice. Pale blue-green peripheral iridescence frames russet-gray centers on either side. Scarce and highly collectible within this grade range.
