This bold obverse shows the tip of 5 piercing the bust, small stars are arranged 10 x 5. The 13-leaf reverse shows a leaf nearly touching the left upright of 'U' in UNITED. A strong strike resulted in outstanding overall detail, the lightest wear preserves partially lustrous surfaces. Examination will reveal a scattering of minute tics consistent with a brief period of trouble-free circulation. The first date of Eagle coinage is always in demand and this example appears tailor-made for some fine date, type or variety collection.
