1806 Br.5-E (R-3). Knobbed 6. Brilliant Uncirculated, or virtually so. Exquisite antique gold fields and devices are surrounded by glowing mint frost in and around the protected areas of the designs and legends. The Knobbed 6 is a distinct major variety that is represented by only one obverse-reverse die combination for 1806. Here is a coin with the lustre of a Mint State coin but perhaps a touch of friction at the high points.
