The color is pale silver with some sky blue toning at Liberty's head. This die state was formerly known as Bolender 18, but has since been delisted because it is only a later die state of Bolender 13. The reverse shows clash marks through the clouds, the word 'OF' and the eagle's wing, all diagnostics of this advanced die state. The strike is quite bold and there are no adjustment marks or other distractions. A beautiful early type coin that would be quite difficult to improve upon. Bowers-Borckardt Die State III.
