1795 Bolender 5. Three Leaves Below Wings. About Uncirculated and very nearly Choice. Here is a very high quality specimen of one of the most popular United States coin types. Miss Liberty's flowing hair and bust seem to float against smooth, gently reflective and very lustrous silver fields. Devices are extremely well struck for the type and feature clearly defined hair strands and eagle feathers. Rims are gently toned in orange-gold on this mostly stark silver specimen. The Bolender 5 variety is easily picked out by a thin, raised die gouge behind Liberty's hair, which should not be confused with damage on this problem-free coin. Thorough consideration of this imposing specimen will reward the collector of early Silver Dollars or early American type coins.
