1794 S.19a (Rarity-5+). Edge of 1793. Fine-12 or better in terms of wear. Surfaces are mostly smooth, with hints of granularity in areas, and are now a rich salmon tone from a past cleaning. There are also areas of graphite-blue coloration, mostly at the left obverse and reverse. Central devices, especially the boyish representation of Liberty, are very boldly defined, while the legends are a bit weak in areas. Here is a highly acceptable example of this rare Large Cent variety of a type that is always much sought after.
