Brass, 25.8 x 25.6mm. Choice Extremely Fine. Obv. English inscription W. EDGAR JUNr. CLOTHING STORE, 30 CANAL ST., NEW ORLEANS. Rev. French form DEPOT DES HABILLEMENTS... RUE DE CANAL... NOUVELLE ORLEANS. Light yellow surfaces, struck slightly off-center from misaligned dies. The reverse shows a diagonal streak, minuscule edge ding. Russell Rulau lists this rare token under Early American, attributing it to the English firm of Kettle.
