Thirteen level stepped pyramid for the strength and unity of the thirteen states, legend PERRENIS (Everlasting). Crisp Uncirculated. Trimmed in slightly along the bottom center.

The first use of a $50 note in the Continental series. This motif, along with other added denominations in the January 14, 1779 Resolution, was developed by Francis Hopkinson as well as the higher denominations used in the January 14, 1779 emission.
