Using the classic ''Fugio'' motif. The face design with a sun dial and legend FUGIO, MIND YOUR BUSINESS. The face designs were influenced by Ben Franklin's philosophies. The back has thirteen intertwined chain links with AMERICAN CONGRESS encircling WE ARE ONE. The devices and border cuts by Elisha Gallaudet. Choice Crisp Uncirculated with complete margins. There is a faint foxing spot at the bottom which is hard to notice.

These are the only change bills issued on the Continental series as inflation would soon mandate higher denominations in a scant four years. On this denomination, ''CURRENCEY'' is misspelled at the right end, as it is also ''mispelled'' on one rare Continental Dollar variety. Six hundred thousand notes were printed, but choice examples are always in demand. An essential type note for any American currency collection.
