Printed on laid, watermarked ''Billet de Banque'' paper. 158mm by 82mm. Uniface, typeset note, with block letter indent and embossed bank seal. Indent, partial ''ALE''. Lafaurie-Unlisted. Pick Type A22. About Extremely Fine, but a bit foxed and cut a bit raggedly on the top edge. A very rare issue of John Law notes which saw the end of the ''wealth'' and the bursting of the ''bubble''.

Ex J.P. Vannier, Bordeaux, France, 1979.

There were 1.2 million notes issued of this denomination, but these are very rare. Lafaurie knew of only five examples. Only two denominations were issued on September 2, 1720 series, 10 and 50 Livres Tournois. They would have been used to exchange earlier note issues.
