Signed by Peyton Randolph and Ro.(bert) C.(arter) Nicholas. Printed on thinner laid paper than previous acts. 79mm by 60mm. Uniface, lead cast cuts similar to previous acts. Ornamental cut at the left with Arms at the upper left, motto EN DAT VIRGINIA QUARTAM (Behold Virginia contributes one quarter of the Arms) in scroll. Denomination conversions in the top, right side and bottom cuts. A rare series for any note. Only 1,800 notes of this denomination were authorized and few have survived. Peyton Randolph later served as President of the Continental Congress in 1774-75. Good to Very Good. Backed onto a contemporary card with period endorsements. A long split runs in ''fly'' pattern from top to bottom. Two ink splatters on the face of a fairly bright note. The Randolph signature is not sharp.
