Uniface, printed in black from different cast cuts than previous issues by William Hunter. Ornamental cut at the left end, at the upper left are the Arms with motto EN DAT VIRGINIA QUARTAM (Behold Virginia contributes one quarter of the Arms). The denomination 'ONE CROWN' in the top border cut and '5 SHILLINGS' in the bottom. A rare and early issue date. Good to Very Good. Trimmed around with some corner rounding. The vertical has split as usual and has been reinforced with a back strip. A small wormhole at the left end.
