Signed by Sam.(uel) Swann, John Starkey, Lewis De Rosset, and Jn. Swann. Printed on laid paper. 88mm by 68mm. Typeset note in black, mixed fonts and with ornamental border. Newman type (b). Good to Very Good, quarter folded and split. All backed onto thin paper. Face soiling and upper right corner chipped off. Back pencil code ''HC/R22'' [certainly Raymond's].

Twelve thousand Pounds Sterling were authorized and made legal tender by this Act date.
