Colony of New York. March 25, 1755. Two Pounds. No.6410(?). Signed by Jno. Livingston, I.(saac) DePeyster...Colony of New York. March 25, 1755. Two Pounds. No.6410(?). Signed by Jno. Livingston, I.(saac) DePeyster and, perhaps Oliver DeLancey [very faint]. Printed on much thicker, coarse paper. Uniface with dark back, printed in black by James Parker. New York Arms to the right side, serpent columns and denomination inside seal. Anti-raising device of two pound weights. Only 2,093 notes authorized of this denomination. Difficult to assign a grade, the coarse back peeled off and missing. The thin part of the face note left is Good, vertically split and rejoined. Some pinholes, a taped split and soiling. Despite the flaws, this is a rare note.
